CAD Technician/Estimator/Designer

 Casper Electric is seeking a technician to join our Engineering Team

Casper Electric is a fast paced, growing electrical/civil/technology construction company performing work in the Wyoming market. This job is a progressive career opportunity!

Essential job duties include:

• Use CAD software to produce construction documents that meet company and client quality standards and expectations.
• Working with and taking direction from project managers/engineers.
• Use PDF Editing software to produce red-line drawings or quantity takeoffs.
• Read and interpret plans, design drawings, specifications, and design narratives.
• Learn Estimating software and perform detailed takeoffs and data entry.
• Assemble product submittal packages and presentations.
• Gather information and data for projects from catalogs and other reference material.
• Check for inconsistencies in drawings and construction documents.
• Maintain records for project documentation.
• Perform other work related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associate or technical degree, or a combination of education and relevant experience is required.
• AutoCAD proficiency

Valid Driver’s license is required.  Job is based in Casper, Wyoming.
