Engineer
Looking for a sharp Engineer – the ideal candidate would:
- Be a Civil Engineering graduate or soon-to-be graduate from an accredited college;
- Be an E.I. or able to become an E.I. soon, with a goal to be a Wyoming P.E. soon;
- Be well-versed on computers; knowledge of drones and ESRI GIS is desirable, but not required;
- Have GIS, AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D experience – you will work on ACAD Civil 3D;
- Want to work in a position of authority in a small firm in the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming, on a variety of municipal and other projects; our company has a successful 90+-year history and people tend to stay here.
We are the City Engineers for both Worland, WY, and Basin, WY, and work on a wide array of projects – water, sewer, transportation, planning, structural, etc. We also do a lot of land surveying, primarily with a Leica GPS system and robotic Total Station.
Worland is located in the Big Horn Basin, surrounded by mountains – the Big Horn Mountains, the Wind River Mountains and the Absaroka Mountains. Because of that, Worland is one of the least windy locations in the state. Worland has a world-class 18-hole golf course. We are also surrounded by wide open public lands – outdoor adventures are just minutes away, including Meadowlark and Antelope Butte Ski Resorts and Powder Pass Nordic Club. The cost of living is low and the schools are excellent – for more information, see https://www.cityofworland.org/ .
Please submit resume, transcript and work experience to EES, 908 Big Horn Avenue, P O Box 638, Worland or call (307)347-8276.
