Job Summary
The primary purpose of the Identity & Access Management Specialist position is to serve as the advocate for the customers or users of KCTCS technology services within the KCTCS Enterprise resource planning system. The position will work with all areas of the KCTCS (ERP) system, HR, Finance, and Campus solutions to manage identity within these modules, using Identity Management tools.
This is a defined-term contract position renewable each fiscal year and located in Versailles, KY.
This position offers the ability to work REMOTE if desired with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 2 days per week.
Job Duties:
- A technical advisor who has experience with a wide variety of client and back-end systems, understand and solve the challenges of developing on the various client platforms and interfacing with the back-end systems and the vendors that host them.
- Work across functional and technical teams within Technology Solutions, Marketing, and other business units to drive consensus in product development and launch cycles for each application or feature.
- Work with vendors and technical teams to define application requirements and features for students, faculty, and staff.
- Provide security leadership and support for all KCTCS ERP areas.
- Provide thought leadership and a unifying vision for the user experience while serving as ambassador for the client experience and the end-user across the system.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Information Technology or related field and five (5) years relevant experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Business, Computer Information Technology or related field and four (4) years relevant experience or equivalent.
Additional Skills Requested:
•Programming in PeopleSoft or related Enterprise Resource Planning development languages and techniques: People Code, Application Designer, Unix Shell, SQR, XML Publisher, PS Query, etc.
•Has a strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle preferred).
•Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
•Experience with responsive design and programming.
•Functional knowledge of Identity Management Systems.
