Job Summary
This is an Essential Position
This individual is responsible for routine groundskeeping duties including athletic field maintenance, landscape maintenance, snow removal, trash removal, and preparation and maintenance of all exterior landscape areas. The days and hours for this position are Sunday - Thursday 0700-1500
Additional tasks include logistical moves and event set ups.
Minimum Qualifications

The anticipated starting salary is based on the current applicable CBA or Management pay scale, depending on the job classification.

Minimum Qualifications
- One years experience in Grounds care, Landscaping, or related field
- Stable employment history; at least two full years with the same employer
- High school diploma, GED, or similar certificate.
- Must posses a valid driver's license
- The candidate must possess the ability to work in a variety of environments including outdoor work during harsh weather extremes such as hot and cold temperatures.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to maintain and make routine repairs to machinery and equipment.
- Ability to learn and operate equipment commonly used in the landscape and turf maintenance industry
- Three years of experience in grounds care and/or landscape maintenance.
- Formal education in a horticulture-related field
- Prior work experience involving snow removal operations.
- Prior work experience or formal education in the field of toxic chemical pesticides and herbicides, and knowledge of the safety precautions required to minimize hazards inherent in this field.
- A working mechanical knowledge of small equipment and repair of that equipment.
- The possession of a PA Department of Agriculture Certified Applicator License in the Core, Categories 6 & 7
