The Omaha World Herald, a Lee Enterprises Inc. entity is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team at the Freedom Center in downtown Omaha.
This position is part of the maintenance team that troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains all of the industrial equipment needed to print and distribute newspapers. The Industrial Electrician should possess knowledge of PLC, motor controls, AC/DC drives, HVAC controls, building maintenance, preventative maintenance troubleshooting equipment and component level repairs. This position works 7:30-4:30, although is needed to fill in on other shifts cover vacations or absences.
The ideal candidate will have three or more years of experience along with technical school or approved apprenticeship training. A state electrical license and knowledge of NEC codes are a plus. Preference is given to candidates with preventative maintenance experience.
