Pavilion Coordinator
Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is seeking a Pavilion Coordinator to join our team. This individual will manage the first impression efforts of the PCI Medical Pavilion.
The Coordinator will individually, and through direct reports and volunteer workforce, influence customer satisfaction by greeting patients and guests in a courteous manner, assisting with any questions or concerns that they may have and assisting guests with navigation through the PCI Medical Pavilion. Position requires a high commitment to service excellence.
This individual works in the patient and guest areas and throughout the Pavilion, on the floor and occasionally in the office.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Manage recruitment, training, motivation, organization, planning, and recognition of first impressions staff and volunteers.
- Greet guests upon arrival at the pavilion and walk guests to the appropriate destination.
- Maintain public areas of the Pavilion including the PCI Referral Center and Reflection room.
- Provide guidance and assistance to patients and guests as necessary.
- Conducts position orientation with new volunteers and first impressions staff.
- Development and implementation of first impressions training for assigned staff.
- Immediately seeks to resolve patient and guest concerns. Escalates problem resolution for immediate service recovery if necessary.
- Seeks contact with guests in order to bring the service to them; functions in a proactive versus reactive manner.

Qualifications include:
- A minimum two years of experience in direct customer facing/customer support and service role (hospitality/resort/healthcare industry background preferred)
- Computer skills including Outlook, Microsoft, and Google applications.
- Ability to assist a high volume of patients professionally and pleasantly at all times.
- Experience in managing, training, and motivating staff and volunteers.
Leading candidates will possess:
- Experience with Outlook, Microsoft, and Google applications.
- 12 months or more of experience within large medical setting, medical center, high/volume and fast pace provider office, or hospital environment.
- 12 months or more experience successfully supervising others.
- Familiar with Electronic Medical Records and Volgistics.
- An Associate Degree (AA) or degree in a healthcare or hospitality field.
