Job Description Summary
PGCC is seeking a skilled leader who is data centric, collaborative, and highly motivated to fill the inaugural Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management position. The candidate is required to demonstrate a proven track record of enrollment successes and growth.
Reporting directly to the Vice President for Student Affairs, this student-centered position is crucial for developing and implementing well defined strategies to advance student enrollment, retention, and success. The Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Enrollment Management will support the Vice President for Student Affairs in developing and executing well-planned strategies to implement the institution's enrollment goals. The AVP will manage all aspects of Enrollment Services, continue the codification of the college's strategic enrollment management plan, and supervise the offices of Recruitment and Admissions, Records and Registration, and Constituent Relationship Management.
The start date for this position is July 1, 2024.

- Five years of relevant professional experience in enrollment management or other higher education senior leadership/executive level experience.
- Four years of direct program administration and/or supervisory experience required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Inform the systemic implementation and administration of college-wide policies and procedures to support recruitment and admissions processes. Incumbent will demonstrate a collaborative nature and aptitude to partner effectively to produce extraordinary outcomes.
- Analyze and assess market effectiveness and industry trends to increase student enrollment across various student subtypes and populations. AVP will report on strategic priorities, market updates, and lead tactics to advance systemic recruitment activities, measures, and outcomes.
- Ensure recruitment goals, objectives, budgets, and models produce successful recruitment yields consistent with market analysis and industry demands across academic disciplines and extension centers.
- Oversee the admissions process, including application review, enrollment activities, and registration imperatives.
- Deeply analyze enrollment trends, demographics, and market data to project growth and improvement potential.
- Evaluate administrative staff and establish leading performance objectives. Conduct employee performance reviews; provide professional development opportunities.
- Implement technology solutions to streamline enrollment processes and enhance the student experience.
- Administer recruitment efforts for a diverse student body, including international, readmits, veterans, transfer students, and current enrollees.
- Offer routine data analysis to the VPSA and college administrators regarding funnel projections, trends, course demands, and other indicators needed to support operational decisions.
- Provide oversight of credit and noncredit registration processes, student record management, and security.
- Implement student success strategies and customer service standards aligned with the college's vision, mission, and strategic plan.
- Serve as a liaison to promote college programs to external stakeholders, including community partners and K-12 schools.
- Coordinate divisional/unit programs and services, including late registration and new student orientation.
- Participate in relevant professional activities and organizations.
- Act as a liaison between Enrollment Services and professional groups, accrediting bodies, and community/government agencies.
- Plan budgets, set goals, and allocate fiscal resources for Enrollment Services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for Enrollment Services.
- Attend Board of Trustees and other meetings as directed.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Vice President for Student Affairs.
- Skilled in project management, team dynamics, and proven analytical skills to generate significant performance yield in enrollment across multiple student subgroups.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic research and planning, data analysis and reporting, budgeting and supervision. Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills, and the ability to draw conclusions.
- Gifted in managing a diverse and multi-talented enrollment services cluster. Proficient in program development within student recruitment, admissions, and registrar domains.
- Recent track record in developing, implementing, and evaluating recruitment programs.
- Well-versed in current research trends, best practices, and local/state/federal mandates.
- Experienced in utilizing technology for optimizing enrollment services and student information database systems.
- Relationship oriented, teambuilder, and effective presenter, and oral/written communicator.
- Capable of executing detailed work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of predictive analytics and have a proven track record of successfully growing enrollment.
- Demonstrated knowledge in database management, statistical data interpretation and the application of relevant information technology in recruitment programs
