Job Summary

Red Butte Garden is seeking candidates to assist with the Concert Donor Club program for the 2024 Outdoor Concert Series. Reporting to the Associate Director of Advancement, Concert Donor Relations Representatives are responsible for providing excellent guest service at Red Butte Garden outdoor summer concert series in our premium Donor area.

Primary responsibilities will include but aren't limited to; greeting and directing guests, scanning tickets and wristbanding donors, setting up and take down before and after shows in the Donor area and reserved seats, assist guests with questions and hospitality needs, working with volunteers and assisting team members with the smooth and safe operation of the Donor area and entrance gate. Work will be performed outdoors where temperatures will fluctuate to sometimes extreme levels with chances of precipitation and windy conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Assists in staffing for concerts and special events. Evening shifts required. Must commit to 28-30 concerts per season.
  • Interacts directly with members of Concert Donor Club during concerts to assess and meet customer needs.
  • Provides set up and take down for concerts on donor terrace and reserved seats.
  • Respond to guest complaints, questions, information requests and comments.
  • Answers questions about the organization and associated activities.
  • Greet patrons as they enter performance venue
  • Responsible for scanning tickets and ensuring all guests have a proper ticket
  • Responsible for protecting the integrity of the Donor area by ensuring all guests have a proper ticket
  • Wristbanding patrons with valid tickets
  • Get patrons through the venue gate as swiftly possible
  • Aids with patrons' special needs, such as accommodations for ADA access
  • Respond to guest complaints, questions, information requests and comments
  • Use excellent customer service skills and positive attitude when interacting with guests, vendors, & employees
  • Complete all assigned tasks within the guidelines & deadlines set by Concert Development Officer and Supervisors
  • Follow all operating policies and procedures at all times
Minimum Qualifications

This is a seasonal, temporary, non-benefited position that can be used for positions six months or less.

Seasonal work generally means work that by its very nature can only be performed during certain times of the year.

This position is temporary and non-benefited.
